Once our wool tops arrive in Taiwan our vertically integrated manufacturing partner oversees the spinning, knitting and garment manufacturing on our behalf. During the spinning process, our wool tops are spun into yarn. Basically what happens is that the thick wool top gets pulled more and more into a very thin but strong thread. The spinner we work with has developed a new spinning technology called Nuyarn. The Nuyarn spinning technology blends our merino wool with other fibres in a very special way that improves the performance of the final fabric. Read more about Nuyarn here. The yarn is then shipped to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam for knitting, dying and garment manufacturing.
